For almost three decades I am an active part of the IT, AV, broadcast and video production community.
1992: I presented my first paper at a SMPTE conference in San Francisco, followed by presentations at IBC/Amsterdam and SMPTE conferences in New Orleans and Cologne.
In 1998, I started my own business. Since then I have been working as an Independent/Freelance Journalist and author. My topics are video pre/post production in conjunction with new technology (server, editing systems, storage solutions, content/asset management, etc.), computer- and network developments, and education - just to name a few.
My articles are published in special interest magazines (FKT, TVBEurope, SMPTE Journal, Professional Production, Broadcast Engineering, Millimteter, etc.), several other publications such as c´t, and selected articles can be found in university libraries.
